Zesty Grilled Shrimp Tacos



These Zesty Grilled Shrimp Tacos taste great every time you take a bite. A tasty taco is made with grilled shrimp that is juicy, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce. Great for a quick dinner during the week or a summer barbecue.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small taco-sized flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce adjust to taste

Instructions:

Salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, olive oil should all be mixed together in a bowl

Toss the shrimp in the sauce after adding it

Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Put the shrimp that have been marinated on skewers or use a grill basket so they don't fall through the grates

Grill the shrimp for two to three minutes on each side, or until they get pink and a little charred

Do something else on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side while the shrimp are cooking

To make the zesty sauce, mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and hot sauce in a small bowl with a whisk

You can change how spicy the hot sauce is to your liking

Start by putting some shredded lettuce on each tortilla

Then add some grilled shrimp, diced tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro

Pour the tangy sauce over the filling in each taco

Serve the Zesty Grilled Shrimp Tacos right away, and if you want, top them with extra cilantro and lime wedges
